Caffè Musica presents Serena Albero, Saturday, May 8th, 7 - 9pm, $10:00 cover: We are thrilled to welcome an incredibly talented young artist who we are lucky enough to have join us during her summer tour while she is on break from her studies at the renown New School in New York City. We hope you will join us for this special show.
Serena Albero (guitar, vocals) was born in Barcelona, Spain to a family of musicians and performing artists. She started her formal studies at age 7 taking up classical guitar as her main focus for eight years. At age 15 Serena and her family moved to Seattle. Here she began headlining venues like North City Bistro, Tulas Jazz Club, Egan's Ballard Jam House, and Stone Way Cafe among others.
Serena’s music rings with influences that traverse the genres of jazz, rhythm and blues, and soul. She incorporates these influences with a passion and flare that result in a truly unique sound. She is currently recording a full-length album project with her band, The Odd Kids, slated for release in July 2019. Serena will be joined by special guest, Marcel Dominguez Albero (saxophone).
