Caffè Musica proudly presents Instrumental Ladies of Jazz, Friday, April 20th, 2018, 7:00 - 9:00pm, $10.00 cover: This event showcases some of the finest female jazz instrumentalists in the Seattle area. Join us in welcoming host, pianist and composer Ann Reynolds and special guest, Amy Denio (clarinet, sax).
Amy Denio is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, improviser, teacher, and member of Seattle Jazz Hall of Fame. She enjoys playing blues and jazz, rock, country, and world music of all kinds. She runs her own record label and has produced over 50 recordings in collaboration with musicians worldwide.
Ann Reynolds is a composer and piano player. She has played in NW Jazz community since mid 1990s, but is perhaps best known for her Cuban music. In 2014 she released a CD, Para Cuba Con Amor, of her own Cuban music compositions, covering a wide set of genres. She has also played in jazz big bands (SWOJO) for many years and teaches private piano lessons.
This is a very popular series, please make your reservations early. Early bird dinner seating is at 5pm for those not intending to attend the performance. Seating for the dinner show begins at 6pm. Free parking in our covered parking garage 6pm to close with an advance dinner reservation.
