Caffè Musica presents an evening Aperitivo and Live Music, Sunday, May 6th, 5:00 - 7:30pm, no cover. Join us for a delicious array of Italian bites and listen to some great music as Seattle Jazz Guitar Society joins forces with Shoreline Community College Music Faculty and Students. This open jam will feature some great guitar work accompanied by other skilled instrumentalists on bass, piano, voice, and horn. The evening will be hosted by Grammy-nominated guitarist and sound-design specialist, Tim Volpicella.

Tim Volpicella is a GRAMMY-nominated artist who displays an outstanding ability to craft music and sound as both a guitarist and sound design and audio production specialist. His Grammy accolade was received for his production work on The PapaHugs Band 2011 release Are We There Yet? He has performed for audiences in the United States, Europe, Japan and South America. His resume includes appearances at Earshot Jazz, Monterey Jazz Festival, San Francisco Jazz Festival, San Jose Jazz Festival and the Lennie Tristanno Jazz Festival (Naples, Italy), and a five-year stint with the John Carlton Orchestra at Harrah’s Headliner Room (Reno, NV). Tim has performed with such renowned artists as Russell Ferrante, Hafez Modirzadeh and John Carlos Perea, and has appeared on numerous studio recordings. Tim’s original compositions can be heard on his own CDs, Many Places and Unspoken Words, Paesaggio Sonori and on SoundCloud.
