Caffè Musica presents Instrumental Ladies of Jazz, Friday, October 19, 7-9pm, $10.00 cover: This event showcases some of the finest female jazz instrumentalists in the Seattle area. Pianist and composer Ann Reynolds hosts and plays this evening with special guest, Leah Pogwizd (Upright Bass).

Early-bird dinner seating begins at 5pm, seating for dinner show begins at 6pm, $10.00 cover 6pm on, music is 7-9pm. Last dinner seating at 8:30pm. Leah Pogwizd is a Seattle-based jazz bassist and instructor. She has taught many classes, ensembles, and lessons at Jazz Night School. She is currently developing a minimalist teaching curriculum, Nanodiversity of Jazz. For more information see her blog, https://leahpogwizd.com/blog/.
Ann Reynolds is a composer, piano player and educator. She has played in NW Jazz community since mid 1990s, but is perhaps best known for her Cuban music. In 2014 she released a CD, Para Cuba Con Amor, of her own Cuban music compositions, covering a wide set of genres. She has also played in jazz big bands (SWOJO) for many years and teaches private piano lessons.
