Hosted by pianist and composer Ann Reynolds, it is sure to be a popular series, so please make your reservations early. Ann and musician, Tobi Stone join musical forces to debut this series.
Tobi Stone is a saxophonist, clarinetist, flutist and composer in the Seattle Area. She has performed most notably with Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra (2012-2015), recorded and toured internationally with The Tiptons Saxophone Quartet (2002-2007), and played regularly with pianist Ann Reynolds as a jazz duo (1999-2013). She also appears with The Pazific - a Caribbean, Spanish, Funk, Reggae dance band. Currently, she teaches at her Alki Beach Music Studio, Seattle Drum School and Jazz Clubs Northwest in North Bend.
Ann Reynolds is a composer and piano player. She has played in NW Jazz community since mid 1990s, but is perhaps best known for her Cuban music. In 2014 she released a CD, Para Cuba Con Amor, of her own Cuban music compositions, covering a wide set of genres. She has also played in jazz big bands (SWOJO) for many years and teaches private piano lessons.
