Author Rebecca J. Novelli will discuss how personal experience becomes material for fiction and art in the context of her novel, The Train to Orvieto, an intimate story of love, loss, betrayal and reconciliation, begins in the heartland of America and unfolds against a turbulent background of war and social unrest in Italy between 1935 and 1968. This family saga examines how we come to understand the truths of our own lives and the costs of accepting them. Books will be available for sale.
