Laura Rosok has a voice that grabs your attention. She delivers a wonderful repertoire of jazz standards and popular songs worthy of attention by any music lover. Laura was the recipient of Downbeat Magazine's national Student Music Awards in the jazz soloist category in 2015 while still in high school. Downbeat said of Rosok, “You are the total package! Beautiful, clear sound, great pitch, effortless flexibility of motion. A pleasure to listen to.” Other accolades have included winning the Seattle-Kobe Female Jazz Vocalist competition which led to Rosok's guest performances at Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley, the Sone Jazz Club and the Jazz Queen Vocal Contest in Kobe, Japan. Rosok has performed with the likes of Lance Buller and the Roadstars (KPLU studio sessions broadcast live on radio), Jesse Sullivan, Randy Halberstadt, Bill Anschell, Reuel Lubag, and Jon Hamar among others.
A Shoreline, Washington native, Laura graduated from King’s High School and is currently attending the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami pursuing a bachelor’s degree in music with an emphasis in jazz vocal performance.
Ravi Sharma, also from Seattle, studied Jazz performance in Boston at the New England Conservatory. He recently won an Honorable mention from the Young Arts Foundation, and took first place prize in the jazz category for the Guitar Slinger Competition. His group, the Boston Swing Trio was awarded Best Band of the Bucharest International Jazz Competition.
