WINES for the HOLIDAYS
Sunday, November 12, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. It’s no wonder the ancient Greeks referred to Italy as “Enotria”, the land of wines. Italy has over 2,000 grape growers, each region with its own culture, soil type and micro-climates. With over 15,000 grape varieties it can be overwhelming to know where to start. This class explores Italy's classic wine regions and includes samples paired with imported Italian cheeses. Learn how to buy and store wine, procure it as an investment, pair it with food, and negotiate a wine list when dining out. Cost: $65. Limited space.
